Fish Tacos

Tonight's dinner was really good! And amazingly cheap to make also! We loved it so much! I personally think that the fish can stand a bit more seasoning than the suggested amount but it still turned out really well!

What You Need:
  • 4 radishes
  • red cabbage
  • 3 tilapia fillets
  • 1 tsp. chili powder
  • 1/2 cup flour
  • 1-2 Tbsp. sugar
  • 1/4 cup rice vinegar or apple cider vinegar
  • tortillas (corn or flour)
  • oil
  • salt and pepper to taste
How to Do It:

First, thinly slice the radishes and cabbage. Next, pickle the cabbage with the vinegar and sugar in a small bowl. Season with salt and pepper. Set aside until finished cooking. Stir occasionally.

Pat the fish dry with a paper towel and season with salt and pepper. Using the chili powder, coat the fillets lightly, use less if you can't handle spicy foods. Then coat with flour, shaking off excess. In a large skillet, heat a layer of oil on medium-high until hot. Add the fish to the pan; cook two to three minutes on each side, or until golden brown and cooked through.

Cut the fish and place on tortillas and top with radishes, cabbage, and mango-black bean salsa. Enjoy!
